I can't express how excited I was that we were getting a coming that canonized what became of everyone's favorite broody elf. Every page I read I got a little more and more disappointed- is Bioware saying that Fenris and Hawke ended up rivals in the canon? I thought that Hawke/Isabela was the canon romance, sure, but Fenris suggests that they all separated, and maybe not on great terms. WTH?More than the weird plot, the art is really hard to get around. It's inconsistent and even goofy. There is no reason to care about any of the characters, or to even read the book more than once. I'm so seriously disappointed; BUT Fenris always has been and always will be my favorite, so I guess just having him canonically alive is good enough. Another addition into the dragon age conics and they’ve brought back yet another fan favorite character.Art 10/10I’ve always enjoyed the art style of these comics and this volume is no exception.Story 7/10I was a little disappointed with the story. After playing da2 many choose to either befriend or romance fenris but in these comics fenris claims everyone abandoned him. I had to go searching for why that is and found the answer on one of the writers accounts.Thought I loved the comic it arrived with a dent on the cover which bummed me out.Overall if you want to continue to know the deeper story of dragon age lore or just waiting for the next game these comics will tide you over.
