I have really enjoyed this last addition to the overall Compass series. I'm so glad Mari and Jayne included the Boys because all 4 books have been excellent.I purposely didn't read any teasers or reviews going into this last book and I'm really glad I didn't. I was pleasantly surprised to read that it was a menage and that the series ended the same way it began. Coming full circle (pun intended), although maybe slightly less dirty than Northern Exposure cause....ooooooh my........that book is still in my top ten as naughty, naughty, naughty (and I love it!)But back to Light As Air.I adore Doug, who seems to be very happy-go-lucky, but as the book begins is sullen-laid up with a cast, realizing his future in the rodeo has come to an end, but after a meaningful conversation with the beloved ranch hand, Jake, he turns that sullen attitude around. Years later we see Doug living his life as a storm chaser, much after that advice from Jake and his best friend, TJ. It is after a little persisting that Doug gets his bestie out on the road with him that things progress.Both men have been harboring feelings for each other, but have never taken action. They also find the scientist, Rosie, attractive and they both want her, she wants them, so what's the natural thing to do...everyone gets what they want. Yummy, yum, yum.Of course I'm leaving out all the in between and angry storms, but you should really read that yourself.What's important is that this is absolute final book in the Compton series and I'm horribly sad about it. Like losing a loved one sad. Thank you Mari and Jayne for writing a wonderful family that I've grown very attached to and love with that weird fictional need.Yet, I'm really hoping that you two get together and feel the need to give us updates on their babies or some dirty barn shindigs or something. I'm not too proud to beg. Well hell, the final book in this amazing series absolutely did not disappoint! How Mari and Jayne keep each book fresh, and their own I will never know! I went into Doug’s book, assuming he would find happiness with Rosalia. I had no idea that TJ would play such an important part. Trust me, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled beyond words! This damn book made me cry again, for the loss TJ had endured. It was as dirty sexy as every other Compton book written! The sexual chemistry and attraction was off the charts, F-five for sure! I can close my eyes and see ever scene in my minds eye, so steamy, so damn sexy! I swear, if you haven’t read every book in the Compass series, you are doing yourself a serious injustice!
